Which targets does ForeStClim have?
ForeStClim brings together 21 partners with a wide range of experts from United Kingdom, Germany, France, The Netherlands and Luxemburg. The main aim of this transnational cooperation is to develop proactive and adaptive regional forestry management and forest protection strategies in the face of the expected climate change scenarios. Consequently, it will contribute to the economic and ecological stability of the forests in North-West Europe (NWE).
Who finances ForeStClim?
ForeStClim is part of the INTERREG IVB programme in North-West Europe and has a total budget of 11.6 million euros. Out of this, 5.7 million euros are being provided by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
What duration does the project have?
ForeStClim runs from 01 January 2008 – 31 December 2012 (5 years).

Call for the First INTERNATIONAL ForeStClim PHOTOEXHIBITION “Trees and humans in a changing climate”
The Call for photos opens on Tuesday 15th May and closes on Tuesday 31st July.
We are asking for high qualified photos concerning 4 priorities from professional and amateur photographers from all continents over the world.
